About Lauren Gojkovich

Lauren Gojkovich is the Founder and Managing Partner of LDG Advisory. 

Ms. Gojkovich brings her clients deep intelligence on the activist investor, institutional investor, stewardship team and proxy advisory firm mindset in contested situations, having advised some of the market’s most prominent public companies and leading activist funds on their highest-stakes contested situations and worked alongside the former heads of the governance teams from BlackRock, Vanguard, State Street and other global investors, along with members of the Special Situations teams at ISS and Glass Lewis.

She has over 15 years of shareholder activism, corporate governance, legal and corporate M&A experience, advising corporate boards of directors, management teams and activist investors navigating complex and contested shareholder matters, including activism campaigns, proxy fights, hostile takeovers, contested M&A, activism preparedness, Rule 14a-8 shareholder proposals and all aspects of shareholder engagement.

Ms. Gojkovich was most recently the Head of PJT Partners’ US Activism Defense Practice. She joined PJT through its acquisition of CamberView Partners, a leading global shareholder advisory firm. 

Earlier in her career, Ms. Gojkovich was an attorney at Goldman Sachs, advising on the corporate governance of the Goldman Sachs board of directors and she also worked as a corporate attorney at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, where she specialized in M&A, corporate governance, proxy fights and takeover defense. 

Ms. Gojkovich began her career as an analyst in the equities trading division of Goldman Sachs.

Ms. Gojkovich is a member of the State Bar of New York and Massachusetts. She holds a JD from Columbia Law School, where she was a James Kent Scholar. She received a B.A. in public policy studies from Duke University, where she graduated magna cum laude.
